Tropical storm Lala is currently in the Paciffic Ocean and may strenghten into a Category 1 hurricane before making landfall in the big island of Hawaii.
This is extremely rare for Hawaii. The last hurricane to hit Hawaii was in the 1800s. Lala is a rare storm that will likely go down in the record books, assuming it strengthens into a hurricane.
